Volley for the Cure

Join us on September 25 at 4:30 in the Berkey for our annual Volley for the Cure event! Between the exciting action on the court, we’ll be hosting basket raffles, with all proceeds benefiting Ellis Border, an elementary school student battling cancer. Come out, cheer on our teams, and support a great cause that’s close to our hearts. 
 

School Fees

School fees can conveniently be paid on PaySchools this year. Click here to log into your PaySchools account. If you still need to set up your account, remember to enter the student ID, found on ProgressBook or Final Forms. Also select "Green Local-Wayne" as the school.

Soapbox Derby Fun Run

Wayne-Holmes Local Soapbox Derby is looking for kids ages 7-20 to join our local soapbox derby! We are having a Free Fun Run on Saturday, September 20, 2025. Kids can use one of our soapbox derby cars.

There will also be a 50/50 raffle and a raffle to win one of two completed soapbox derby cars. We will also have local handmade items and food vendors to check out as well.

Boys Biddy Ball

The Smithville Boys Basketball Coaching staff is hosting a Biddy Ball program for boys in grades 2-6.
Practices start October 20th and games begin in November. The cost is $40 (or $25 each if two or more siblings participate.)

Night Under the Lights: Sept 24 @ 6 PM

Join us for a fun night at the Berkey Stadium on Wednesday at 6:00 PM! Free dinner, games, and books! Meet at the Berkey Football Field (if it rains, it will be inside the field house). 

We will have multiple free books for every student that attends, games around the track for entertainment, multiple stations for kids to be read to from our GES staff to first responders. We will also serve a meal of hotdogs and chips while they last. Kona ice will be joining us this year as well for families to be able to purchase snow cones with a portion going back to the PTO.
